Colorado Climate Center Field Trip
October 8, 2019 Field Trip to CSU On Tuesday, we went to Colorado State University's Climate Center. We were given a tour of their outdoor weather center that included many instruments for measuring weather. We also were shown a demonstration of how satellites track weather by a real PhD satellite scientist. Finally, we graphed a years worth of actual data from the rain gauges. Students were able to see how much rain fell each month, and discussed why some months would have more precipitation than others. THANK YOU to all the parents who drove.
